About The Position

Clarins Group, a global leader in skincare and makeup, is seeking a Marketing Intern for its Makeup & Treatment team in New York City. The role involves supporting the Marketing team by analyzing competitive activities, organizing new product launches, and contributing to market data analysis. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Communications or related fields
  • Experience in the beauty, fashion or luxury industry, preferably in marketing roles
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (required)
  • Demonstrate strong technical acumen for troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Available to work a minimum of 35 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months
  • Available in-person in New York City on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, and present competitive launches in monthly meetings and share with the Global team.
  • Monitor competitive brands on their products, claims, messaging, marketing campaigns, and reviews.
  • Create competitive pricing analysis.
  • Analyze the US market based on Circana data quarterly, identifying market drivers and restrainers, and building reports/presentation slides for business reviews.
  • Manage weekly sell-thru analysis for Clarins’ products.
  • Track creative routes to help the team adhere to deadlines.
  • Monitor and organize the marketing product closet and place order requests when needed.
  • Ship out and track products to support marketing initiatives.
  • Issue Creative requests and project briefs for launches and other projects.
  • Assist in preparing for meetings (PowerPoint presentations, conference room setup, etc.) and attend meetings.
