About The Position

Emergent is a rapidly growing AI company that builds autonomous coding agents to generate, test, and deploy production applications. Our systems are used at a global scale, and we have achieved significant milestones such as crossing $100M in ARR and reaching over 10M users. We are backed by prominent investors and our team consists of experienced professionals from top tech companies. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about AI and want to make a significant impact. The marketing team operates with high velocity, and we are expanding our San Francisco presence. This internship offers a unique opportunity to be one of the first marketing hires in SF, working alongside a global team and contributing to the development of AI tools that enhance marketing efforts. We believe that the best marketers in the AI era will have an engineering mindset, and this internship is an opportunity to test that hypothesis.

Requirements

Shipped a project: this could be a side project, Substack, YouTube channel, AI tool, Discord server, or a brand for someone else.
Proactive and self-motivated; does not wait for permission to build.
Highly engaged online and aware of emerging trends.
Ability to write compelling hooks that capture attention.
Operates at a fast pace.
Prefers building systems that automate work over doing the work manually.
Possesses good taste and a critical eye for what is interesting.
Already uses AI tools in their workflow.
Daily use of agentic AI is expected.

Responsibilities

Work directly with the Head of Marketing on various channels including social media, content, community, events, email, partnerships, and SEO.
Create content such as LinkedIn posts and Reels, engage with creators, participate in events, and respond on community platforms.
Identify and address problems proactively without explicit assignment.
Utilize AI tools like Emergent, Claude Code, Codex, and other agentic tools to improve efficiency.
Be obsessive about AI tooling and integrate it into daily work.
