About The Position

Kaizo Health is a four-location clinical practice in the DC metro area. EMBODI is the behavioral-AI and remote-monitoring platform we built from 32 years of treating patients. Two connected companies, one mission: get patients to do the things that make them better, and prove it works with data. As a Marketing Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting a variety of marketing initiatives while learning the fundamentals of healthcare marketing in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Working closely with our marketing team, you'll contribute to projects that enhance brand awareness, engage our community, and promote our services across multiple channels. This internship is designed for students or recent graduates eager to build practical marketing experience and develop skills in content creation, digital marketing, event coordination, and performance analysis.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant program (Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for learning about marketing and brand development
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and an interest in digital marketing
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Canva, social media tools, or design software is a plus
  • Previous internship, volunteer, campus organization, or project experience in marketing
  • Interest in healthcare, behavioral science, or startups

Responsibilities

  • Support digital marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, website updates, and online advertising efforts
  • Help create engaging content for social media posts, blogs, newsletters, and promotional materials
  • Participate in the planning and coordination of events and marketing activities
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and audience engagement opportunities
  • Assist with tracking and organizing marketing metrics and campaign performance data
  • Support referral and patient engagement initiatives that promote our services and wellness programs
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding
  • Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions and team meetings
