About The Position

Humarq Business Partners is seeking two interns to lead the marketing efforts for a debut novel's post-launch campaign. This role involves creating viral content, building community engagement, and driving sales for a major commercial release. Successful candidates may be offered full-time employment upon completion of the internship. One intern will focus on Marketing/Graphic Design, and the other on Administration.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, English, Journalism or a related field.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

• 1K+ social media following preferred (shows platform understanding)
• Understanding of YA literature market
• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is a plus.
• Prior experience in marketing or internships in related fields is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategy across TikTok, Instagram, and X (Twitter)
• Create engaging content including campaign posts, short-form videos, and character features
• Manage social sharing contest and early access campaign
• Grow email subscriber list
• Track engagement metrics and adjust strategy based on performance
• Coordinate complimentary copy distribution and review management
• Coordinate with vendors as the go-between for the company president
• Answer emails and phone calls (minimal)
