About The Position

This position is a member of the Sales Support & Marketing team within Freightliner Custom Chassis (DTSV). The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Manager of Product Marketing with the development of creative marketing content and implement innovative marketing campaigns. This position is responsible for publishing proprietary content on all social platforms and marketing automation platforms. The Marketing Generalist II will be responsible for developing creative content to support our training strategy. In addition to these responsibilities, this position leads event planning support for tradeshows and conferences. We provide a scheduled posting end date to assist our candidates with their application planning. While this date reflects our latest plans, it is subject to change, and postings may be extended or removed earlier than expected. Position offers a starting salary range of $71,000 - $91,000 USD Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in marketing, communications, advertising or related business field.
  • At least 2 - 4 years of experience in corporate communications, marketing, ad agency, or related field is required
  • Experience with software design and technologies (InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
  • The ability to change direction and priorities in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Excellent communication, writing and proofing skills are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience with posting and measuring social content using META business suite, Spout or equivalent
  • Experience in digital/mobile marketing, including direct responsibility for websites, mobile applications.
  • Experience managing complex projects across multiple business areas (agency partners, internal stakeholders, IT).
  • Experience with event planning and execution

Responsibilities

  • Content management, team event operations and creative content development
  • Familiar with design software like Adobe Creative Suite to create and refine designs.
  • Create and produce visually engaging assets including graphics, animations, digital banners, collateral, digital display billboards, social media and some video editing.
  • Retouch digital products and photos.
  • Support written and video dealer communications.
  • Support ongoing digital asset and content management using a content management system (CMS) for a variety of digital platforms, including brand websites, mobile apps, and DTNA Portal.
  • Ensure content accuracy, uniformity and quality assurance.
  • Support and create training content with dealers and service trainers.
  • Support the development of content for social channels.
  • Post social content on all social media platforms.
  • Support the development of event plans, manage and execute event plans once complete.
  • Support Marketing Manager with event budget to ensure event is delivered within budget.
  • Work with external stakeholders to secure hotels, venues, catering, audio-visual equipment, transportation, and other event accommodations.
  • Coordinate and manage event staff.
  • Execute FCCC AP invoicing processing systems, goods received and check requests
  • Support Marketing Manager and our agency partner on show and event development
  • Manage on site events, show support and booth design execution.
  • Provide backup support as needed with DTNA Portal Communications, Asset Management, training administration, and procurement process.
