About The Position

Flow Automotive is seeking an experienced Marketing Events Manager to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of community engagement initiatives, experiential marketing campaigns, and dealership events across our NC and VA markets. This is a full time, on-site position located at our corporate headquarters in downtown Winston-Salem, NC, working 5 days per week in office. This role is responsible for bringing the Flow brand to life through memorable customer and community experiences-from major regional festivals and concert series to sporting events, dealership grand openings, employee celebrations, and community partnerships. You'll lead a team of Marketing Partnership Coordinators while overseeing every aspect of event execution, including budgets, vendor relationships, logistics, staffing, timelines, and post-event reporting. Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in event management, experiential marketing, hospitality, or a related field
  • Previous experience leading, mentoring, or managing a team
  • Proven success managing multiple large-scale events simultaneously from concept through execution
  • Strong project management, organization, and time management skills
  • Experience managing event budgets and evaluating cost effectiveness
  • Experience developing BEOs, event timelines, site diagrams, and operational documentation
  • Vendor management and contract negotiation experience
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly to changing event conditions
  • Proficiency with Asana (or similar project management software) and Google Workspace
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays based on event schedules
  • Willingness to travel throughout North Carolina and Virginia using a personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for event setup and breakdown

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of community engagement, experiential marketing, sponsorship activations, and dealership events across all Flow markets
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Marketing Partnership Coordinators, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, venues, agencies, sponsors, and vendors
  • Oversee event budgets, forecasts, vendor contracts, purchase orders, and expense tracking
  • Develop detailed event timelines, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), event diagrams, run-of-show documents, and other planning materials
  • Partner with Marketing, dealership leadership, and executive leadership to ensure events support company objectives and strengthen the Flow brand
  • Develop contingency plans and provide real-time problem solving during event execution
  • Analyze event performance and prepare post-event reporting and recommendations
  • Maintain organized documentation, contracts, and planning records for all events and partnerships
  • Support Flow Rewards customer loyalty program fulfillment and event-related activations
