Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant commercial marketing and event management experience.
  • Experience or strong familiarity with the cardiovascular or electrophysiology therapy area preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working with HCPs, sales, and clinical organizations.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and execute large-scale events with attention to detail.
  • Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority and work effectively in a matrix environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong stakeholder management.
  • Comfortable with domestic travel (approximately 25–35%).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with congress strategy and on-site event execution.
  • Exposure to employee experience programs or internal engagement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with event measurement and ROI methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Support development and execution of US commercial customer events, internal meetings, and virtual engagements — ensuring strong project management, on-time delivery, and high-quality attendee experience.
  • Coordinate content and communications for events and meetings in partnership with clinical, medical affairs, regulatory, and brand teams.
  • Support congress planning and onsite execution for product theaters, sponsored activities, and engagement events that support launches and business priorities.
  • Manage logistics and vendor relationships (RFPs, contracts, budgets, and vendor performance) to deliver seamless event production.
  • Execute regional and field-level meetings in partnership with sales and field teams to ensure local alignment, lead capture, and follow-up processes.
  • Track event budgets and expenses, support budget planning and reconciliation, and help measure outcomes and ROI for events and programs.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources to align engagement strategies for trainings, professional education, and congress participation.
  • Gather market and conference insights to inform internal teams on trends and competitive activity.
  • Support employee experience initiatives in collaboration with HR and internal communications (onsite events, townhalls, recognition programs).
  • Support creative and customer experience initiatives for BWI products and programs, helping to ensure tactical alignment to commercial objectives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of event processes and tools; help maintain playbooks and templates to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • May supervise or mentor junior team members, contractors, or agencies as needed.
