Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 3+ years of experience in event coordination within a corporate OR hospitality setting
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • 2+ years of experience working in an office environment, including familiarity with standard office procedures, tools, and etiquette.
  • 2+ years of experience in a deadline driven environment, with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholder expectations
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule, with four days per week onsite at 701 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20004
  • Ability to work full time Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm.
  • It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain overall appearance and functionality of Innovation Center
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (facilities, custodial, building management, caterers, etc.)
  • Preparations for On-Site Visits (greet guests, creation and management of name badges, tent cards, visitor access, advancing meeting rooms, administrative support for our hosts, etc.)
  • Manage scheduling of the spaces within the Innovation Center
  • Engage in frequent communication with Experience Management team
  • Manage special projects / tasks as assigned
