About The Position

The Marketing & Engagement Manager is an individual contributor role responsible for concepting, designing, and shaping creative marketing campaigns, informing audience engagement strategies, guiding how content is expressed across channels, and amplifying Diversus’ brand presence. This role exercises independent creative judgment to develop original campaign concepts, narrative themes, message architectures, and audience experiences across social, digital, and community touchpoints. Working independently and collaboratively without direct reports, this role serves as a creative strategist and storyteller, translating Diversus’ mission into compelling, human-centered experiences.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or community engagement.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong grasp of digital marketing channels (social, email, SEO/SEM) and campaign execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce original creative ideas for campaigns, content, and audience engagement.
  • Strong creative judgment and ability to translate strategic goals into imaginative, audience-centered concepts.
  • Portfolio of creative work demonstrating concept development, storytelling, and campaign creation.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience coordinating with designers, content creators, or project managers in a collaborative workflow.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Concept, plan, creatively design, manage, and execute integrated marketing campaigns, including generating original ideas, narrative directions, and creative approaches to reach and engage audiences across digital, print, email, social, and experiential channels.
  • Lead creative engagement strategies, applying independent creative discretion to determine themes, storylines, content formats, messaging, and visual approaches.
  • Contribute to annual and quarterly marketing planning and media planning, helping to identify the right mix of channels, tactics, and timing to maximize impact.
  • Ensure all campaigns and engagement activities are aligned with Diversus Health’s brand voice, visual identity, and strategic priorities.
  • Generate original campaign concepts, storyboards, content themes, and creative frameworks that shape how the Diversus brand is expressed across channels.
  • Exercise creative judgment in selecting imagery, message tone, copy direction, and channel-specific creative adaptations.
  • Act as a frontline listener in digital and community spaces, surfacing feedback and insights to inform campaign adjustments, content priorities, and strategic recommendations.
  • Track campaign performance metrics, analyze results, and provide actionable insights to the Director of Brand & Marketing.
  • Support the development of dashboards and reports for leadership review.
  • Translate insights into creative recommendations, shaping future campaign narratives, audience journeys, and content experimentation.
  • Apply insights to refine creative concepts, ensuring campaigns remain resonant, inclusive, and aligned with the brand strategy.
  • Partner with marketing team members, outreach teams, clinical staff, and leadership to ensure cohesive marketing that aligns with organizational goals.
  • Support events, trainings, and other brand activation efforts as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure marketing strategies are integrated into the client journey—from awareness to access to care.
  • Act as a creative marketing consultant across departments, leading the development of audience-centered storytelling and engagement experiences.
  • Partner with designers and writers by providing creative input, conceptual guidance, and narrative frameworks that anchor visual and written content.
  • Shape the messages, narratives, and storytelling approaches using creative insight and an understanding of audience needs across channels.
  • Develop original campaign themes, copy direction, content outlines, and engagement concepts.
  • Inform the creative approach for social media, email, digital storytelling, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of Diversus Health’s mission and operational excellence.
