About The Position

Exante360 is seeking a Marketing Director to lead and evolve the firm’s marketing function into a fully strategic, data-informed growth engine. This role is primarily focused on strategic marketing leadership, brand positioning, growth initiatives, and market visibility, while partnering with internal teams that support proposal development and operational execution. The Southern-California based Marketing Director will work closely with the owners and translate the firm’s strategic plan into an actionable marketing roadmap, grounded in analytics, measurable performance, and disciplined execution (“marketing by numbers”). This individual will operate at both a strategic and operational level, ensuring brand consistency, market relevance, and sustained business growth.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience within or closely aligned to the Architecture / Engineering (A/E) or professional services industry strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute strategic marketing plans tied to measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience marketing technology-enabled services, digital platforms, SaaS products, automation solutions, or innovation-driven professional services is a plus.
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts, emerging technologies, and innovation initiatives in a clear, credible, and market-relevant manner.
  • Deep expertise in marketing analytics, KPI development, and performance management.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, and brand development.
  • Experience managing and developing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with Exante360’s strategic plan and revenue growth objectives.
  • Lead the transition of marketing from a tactical function to a strategic, data-driven discipline.
  • Support the continued scaling and evolution of a fast-growing technology consulting firm targeting long-term growth.
  • Partner with Principals and leadership to align marketing with business development and market sector growth.
  • Position Exante360 as an innovative, technology-forward consulting firm operating at the intersection of design engineering, critical infrastructure, and emerging technologies, automation initiatives, and AI-enabled engineering workflows.
  • Own and continuously refine the Exante360 brand, ensuring consistency across all platforms, communications, and client touchpoints.
  • Lead efforts to increase brand awareness and market visibility within target sectors.
  • Define, maintain and expand upon services positioning across market sector verticals.
  • Ensure preservation and reinforcement of company culture and internal brand identity.
  • Implement a data-informed, performance-driven marketing framework, with a focus on measurable ROI.
  • Lead the transition of marketing from a tactical function to a strategic, data-informed, performance-driven discipline.
  • Establish, track, and report on KPIs and performance dashboards.
  • Conduct ongoing market research, competitive analysis, and trend monitoring.
  • Own marketing performance reporting and regularly brief leadership on results, insights, and recommended adjustments.
  • Leverage CRM and internal analytics platforms to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the firm’s subject matter expert on competitors, market dynamics, and industry positioning.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of A/E (Architecture & Engineering) industry trends, client expectations, and emerging opportunities.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on competitive and market intelligence.
  • Monitor evolving trends related to AI, automation, digital delivery, and technology transformation within the design engineering and critical infrastructure industries.
  • Own and manage all digital channels and brand assets, including: Website strategy, content, and performance, LinkedIn and social media presence, SEO and digital visibility initiatives.
  • Develop thought leadership, client education, and market awareness campaigns related to innovation, digital transformation, and emerging engineering technologies.
  • Lead an existing marketing team and associated consultants/vendors, while overseeing marketing priorities, resource planning, and departmental budget strategy.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of marketing professionals, building a high-performing and scalable department.
  • Ensure the department operates efficiently while continuing to evolve in sophistication and impact.
  • Oversee the development of marketing materials, proposals, and client-facing content in alignment with brand standards.
  • Support internal stakeholders with branding, communications, and positioning needs.
