About The Position

The Marketing Director for IMH Fragrance executes the global marketing strategy and reinforces our prestige status through hands-on leadership. This role is responsible for the full implementation of integrated campaigns across digital, e-commerce, trade, and product marketing, guaranteeing exceptional brand consistency across all consumer and wholesale touchpoints. The Director’s primary focus is driving measurable sales growth, increasing brand engagement, and directly strengthening the presence of Michael Malul's brand portfolio, including but not limited to Michael Malul, Esquire, Marley, and Quicksilver, through effective, data-informed execution. We are seeking a solution-oriented leader and self-starter, who excels at balancing high-impact tactical execution with long-term strategic vision. This individual is crucial for scaling our existing marketing functions and developing the necessary infrastructure to drive sustained, measurable growth. They will serve as an essential bridge builder and inclusionary partner, fostering seamless collaboration and alignment across the Sales, Creative, and Marketing teams to ensure a unified approach to market expansion and brand execution.

Requirements

  • Marketing, Strategic Communications, or a Business degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of senior marketing experience, preferably in premium or luxury goods, fragrance, beauty, or fashion.
  • Experience leading, developing, scaling a high performing marketing function.
  • Experience in both retail and wholesale channels is required.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing campaigns that drive global brand awareness and revenue growth.
  • Expertise in product marketing and trade marketing, coupled with a strong understanding of independent retail (IR) and overall retail business dynamics.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire creativity and accountability.
  • Excellent understanding of luxury branding, wholesale and retail distribution, and consumer behavior.
  • Experience working with global markets and tailoring marketing strategies to diverse regional needs.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and optimize marketing performance.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global marketing strategy to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and strengthen consumer and customer relationships across all channels.
  • Lead the ideation and execution of 'big idea' integrated campaigns that resonate globally, building brand recognition and driving consumer engagement.
  • Manage the global marketing budget, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and adjust strategies based on data analytics to ensure alignment with business objectives and maximize ROI.
  • Lead the brand's digital transformation to enhance online presence, driving e-commerce growth across proprietary platforms and marketplaces.
  • Formulate and implement digital marketing strategies, including social media, content marketing, targeted advertising, and influencer programs, to optimize the customer journey and improve overall performance.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales team and key independent market, department stores, and international B2B partners to develop and execute effective trade marketing programs, including in-store branding, training, and events.
  • Drive IR partner sell-through by creating tailored point-of-sale (POS) materials and retail sales tools, and develop CRM strategies to enhance partner loyalty and engagement.
  • Represent the marketing function effectively at trade shows and expos.
  • Lead the end-to-end product marketing strategy, including owning the go-to-market (GTM) plan for new launches, ensuring alignment with market trends and driving IR partner buy-in.
  • Sharpen and evolve the brand's prestige identity and ensure consistency across all channels (digital, wholesale, and retail) by overseeing the creation and deployment of all marketing materials.
  • Lead and inspire a global marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence aligned with company objectives.
  • Serve as an essential partner to the Sales, Creative, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure a unified approach to market growth and manage relationships with external agencies (PR, advertising, digital).
