The position involves establishing and maintaining professional relationships with key healthcare professionals, conducting market assessments, developing comprehensive marketing plans, and implementing marketing initiatives. The Marketing Director will monitor cost-effectiveness, provide educational in-services, act as a resource for customers and the community, and implement a territory management system. Strategic re-assessment of the territory and identification of opportunities for improved services are key. The role also involves conveying information about referral sources to the team, ensuring appropriate admissions for hospice care with informed consent, and providing detailed reports after admissions. Participation in evening/weekend call for admissions and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations are also essential functions.
