About The Position

The company is seeking a Clinical Marketing Director to join their team. The Marketing Director must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. The role requires dealing tactfully with various stakeholders including personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and government agencies. The director must have advanced training in hospital or nursing facility administration and be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertinent to nursing facility administration. The ability to work harmoniously with other personnel, plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for quality care and sound operation is essential. Familiarity with laws and regulations governing information release, along with patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm, and a willingness to adapt to personnel's maturity levels, are also required. The individual should be able to seek and incorporate new methods and principles into existing practices, maintain good personnel relations and employee morale, and not pose a direct threat to workplace safety.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Advanced training in hospital or nursing facility administration
  • Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to nursing facility administration
  • Thoroughly familiar with the laws, regulations and guidelines governing the release of information
  • Patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm
  • Willingness to handle personnel based on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioning
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace
  • Thorough knowledge of principles of effective communication, mass media, advertising, policies, education, community relations, demonstration, organization structure, social and activity services, government relations, etc., as they relate to nursing facility operations
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
  • Five (5) year(s) experience in marketing/public relations in a health care setting (may be recognized in lieu of a bachelor’s degree)

Responsibilities
