About The Position

As the Marketing Development Coordinator, you will work with the President, Sales, and Creative Services, as needed, to achieve goals and objectives, which are outlined below and may change over time based on internal and external factors. We will work together with the common goal of marketing and business growth for DXP. Supervisory Responsibilities: This role does not include direct reports but provides functional leadership, mentoring, and influence over Sales and Creative Services. Leadership & Team Development Lead and foster strong cross-functional collaboration between Creative Services and Sales Act as a primary bridge between Sales and Creative Services, ensuring alignment on goals, messaging, and lead quality Provide direction, mentorship, and strategic guidance to support performance and growth Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and safety requirements, and SOC 2 guidelines Strategic Marketing Develop and execute strategic plans to enter new markets and expand the customer base Drive lead generation and prospecting efforts through networking, outreach, and referral development Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, strategic partners, and key stakeholders Support client retention and expansion through targeted marketing initiatives Collaborate with internal departments to align offerings with market demands and business objectives Support the sales process by bridging marketing efforts with sales execution to help convert leads into closed opportunities Assist with content creation and positioning to support brand visibility and sales enablement Data, Analytics & Targeting Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities to identify growth areas Track and evaluate campaign performance, lead quality, and pipeline effectiveness Use data and research insights to refine targeting, messaging, and outreach strategies

Requirements

  • Strategic mindset with ability to operate autonomously and build from ground up
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategies, including digital and brand management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with coworkers and clients
  • Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to travel locally and drive as needed; must hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Participation in the company’s drug and testing program is required for employment.
  • Experience in Customer Service, Revenue Management, Marketing, and Social Media
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
