About The Position

The purpose of the Marketing & Business Development Coordinator role is to support the execution of marketing initiatives, advisor business development efforts, and day-to-day operational coordination for the Costa Mesa office. This position supports Vance Wealth’s commitment to growth, consistency, and operational excellence by ensuring marketing activities, business development efforts, and office logistics are well-organized, executed effectively, and aligned with firm priorities. Through strong follow-through, organization, and collaboration, this role helps the Marketing & Sales function operate efficiently while supporting advisors and leadership in achieving growth objectives. The Marketing & Business Development Assistant provides direct support to the Marketing & Sales Manager while contributing to content execution, advisor business development initiatives, events, and basic office coordination. This role works closely with marketing, sales, and advisory team members and supports cross-functional initiatives that drive visibility, engagement, and operational consistency. The role is intentionally designed to evolve over time based on business needs and the individual’s strengths.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior administrative, marketing, or support experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Comfort learning and working with digital tools and systems
  • Familiarity with social media platforms

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Canva, WordPress, YouTube, or Constant Contact is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day assistant support to the Marketing & Sales Manager, including scheduling, coordination, follow-ups, and task organization
  • Assist with meeting coordination and scheduling for the Costa Mesa office
  • Provide limited administrative support related to advisor business development initiative and Costa Mesa office operations
  • Track priorities, deadlines, and commitments to ensure timely completion
  • Assist with drafting, organizing, and executing marketing content under direction
  • Support updates to the firm’s website and digital platforms
  • Publish approved content to advisor social media accounts
  • Assist with email campaigns and basic marketing coordination
  • Support advisor business development activities, including outreach preparation, follow-up tracking, and organization
  • Help maintain workflows and systems that support growth initiatives
  • Assist with planning and coordinating local events in Costa Mesa
  • Handle basic office responsibilities such as ordering supplies and maintaining an organized workspace
  • Support logistics and follow-up related to meetings and events
