About The Position

Meritage Homes is seeking a Marketing Data Entry Intern to assist Field Marketing teams with preparing and publishing home listings to the Meritage website. This role is crucial for streamlining the time-intensive process of listing preparation. The internship focuses on data entry tasks rather than traditional marketing duties. The intern will be responsible for preparing and publishing home listings, managing images in the Digital Asset Manager (DAM) system, building image galleries, merchandising content in CRM and DAM systems, and publishing listing pages via the CMS. The program aims to help interns understand Meritage's business, translate classroom experience into practical application, and learn the company's core values.

Requirements

Actively enrolled in a degree program from a regionally accredited university or college
Very self-directed individual
Operating with integrity
Once trained, able to function autonomously using tools and reports to identify which home listings should be prepared and published
Able to communicate clearly if a problem or change arises
Satisfied with data entry functions, including but not limited to copy/pasting from one system or document to another; tracking execution through reports or MS Excel files; producing weekly reports of published listings per division
Ability to make decisions on quality of or viewpoint of images to present the best view of our homes and their various internal spaces
Always assuming positive intent and bringing passion to work
Having a desire to “win” and get stuff done

Responsibilities

Solely focusing and taking the responsibility of preparing and publishing home listings on our company website
Downloading, preparing and uploading up to 30 images per home from our photography vendor to our Digital Asset Manager (DAM) system
Building image galleries from the recently uploaded assets and associate them with the home listing
Merchandise other content for the listing in our CRM and DAM systems
Publish the listing page via the CMS application to display on the website
