About The Position

As a Marketing Data Entry Associate, you will be supporting our Vance Outdoors operations. This role is responsible for accurately entering and updating product information into our online database and ensuring that all listings are correct, complete, and optimized for the best customer experience. This is an on-site position in Heath, Ohio, Monday - Friday, First Shift.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Knowledge of: Microsoft Suite, Google Sheets, CRM Software, Point of Service Systems; Internet Software.
  • Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
  • Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Input new product data into the eCommerce platform (titles, descriptions, specifications, pricing, images, etc.)
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency across product listings
  • Review and update existing product information as needed
  • Verify data against source documents to ensure integrity and completeness
  • Collaborate with other teams (such as buyers or marketing) to gather missing product details
  • Identify and flag any inconsistencies or issues in product data
  • Perform routine audits to ensure all product listings meet internal standards.
  • Responsible for promoting a positive culture within the location/department.
  • Enforces safety, health, and security rules.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as required by management.
