About The Position

The Marketing Creative Designer is responsible for developing high-quality digital and print creative assets that support Mohegan Digital’s omnichannel marketing efforts across CRM, Social, DSP, Events, and on-property communications. This role is highly collaborative, working closely with the Creative Lead and the motion graphics team to concept, design, and execute assets that uphold brand standards and deliver strong visual impact. The ideal candidate is a hands-on designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage shifting priorities, and brings a polished creative vision from concept to execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years’ experience designing in a fast-paced marketing or agency environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to concept and execute creative from a blank page through final delivery.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; familiarity with motion workflows (After Effects, Premiere) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of both digital and print design best practices.
  • Ability to build visually compelling PowerPoint decks, and storytelling presentations.
  • Strong visual storytelling skills and an eye for clean, polished, brand-forward design.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities with comfort managing many projects at once.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
  • Positive, collaborative, and solutions-focused mindset aligned with the spirit of Aquai.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present concepts clearly.
  • Ability to take constructive feedback gracefully and iterate efficiently.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with AI-enabled design tools (e.g., Firefly, Adobe Express) is a plus.
  • Experience with DAM systems (e.g., Bynder) and workflow tools (e.g., Asana) preferred but can be learned on the job.

Responsibilities

  • Concept and design high-quality static assets across digital, print, and on-property channels.
  • Support recurring creative needs for CRM graphics, paid and organic social, DSP banners, app store graphics, website modules, event collateral, and out-of-home materials.
  • Translate campaign look-and-feel across all required formats to ensure visual consistency and brand alignment.
  • Collaborate with motion designers to ensure seamless handoffs, whether developing initial statics for animation or translating animated concepts into static deliverables.
  • Produce visually compelling layouts, typography treatments, and creative options that align with brand tone and campaign strategy. Manage internal platforms and communications, i.e. The Loop, Player’s Club, educational materials, etc.
  • Partner closely with CRM, Social, DSP, Events, and Product teams to understand campaign goals and creative requirements.
  • Work directly with on-property stakeholders and corporate brand partners to ensure omnichannel alignment and consistent brand representation.
  • Apply feedback constructively from multiple reviewers, incorporating revisions while maintaining design integrity.
  • Communicate proactively on timelines, project updates, and any creative blockers.
  • Uphold and apply brand guidelines with accuracy, helping maintain consistency across all jurisdictions and channels.
  • Assist in updating or contributing to brand guidelines, creative documentation, and internal visual standards.
  • Ensure all assets are proofread, visually accurate, and meet compliance requirements before submission.
  • Manage a high-volume workload with daily, weekly, and monthly deliverables, adapting to shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Support efficient creative workflow through organized file management, proper versioning, and timely communication.
  • Utilize Asana (or similar project management tools) to track work, update progress, and collaborate with team members.
  • Assist with maintaining asset organization within Bynder or comparable digital asset management systems.
