About The Position

AIA Contract Documents (ACD) is the industry standard for architecture and construction contracts, trusted for over 135 years. Our Catina platform is a secure, cloud-based hub for creating and managing contract documents. We are modernizing how architects, engineers, and construction professionals work by simplifying complex legal workflows and driving clarity and fairness across the built environment. We are hiring a Marketing Copywriter to join our fully remote marketing team. This role is responsible for writing, editing, and producing high-quality content that educates our audience, supports product and campaign initiatives, and elevates ACD’s position as a trusted voice across the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring stories to life through blogs, white papers, reports, webinar scripts, learning content, and more.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, journalism, or editorial roles, preferably in SaaS, B2B, or legal domains.
  • Demonstrated strength in writing across formats (long-form, short-form, web copy, technical content), with a portfolio of published work.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, content optimization, and content marketing best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple content projects concurrently under deadlines with high quality.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working across teams including product, marketing, legal/SMEs.
  • Experience with CMS, content workflow tools, analytics platforms, and (optionally) AI-assisted content tools.

Responsibilities

  • Create and publish diverse content types: Write, edit, and publish blogs, whitepapers, guides, reports, case studies, webinar scripts, email campaigns, landing pages, and web content.
  • Interpret complex domain content into clear narratives: Translate legal, technical, and industry-specific content into accessible, engaging copy tailored for architects, engineers, and construction professionals.
  • Implement SEO, readability, and conversion best practices: Work with SEO/GEO inputs, optimize content for organic search and user experience, and ensure each asset performs well in discoverability and engagement.
  • Manage content production workflow: Work with internal reviewers (e.g., product, legal, SMEs), designers, and other stakeholders to ensure content is accurate, on-brand, and delivered on schedule.
  • Support full-funnel content needs: Produce content for all buyer/customer journey stages from awareness (articles, thought leadership) to decision (white papers, case studies) to onboarding/retention (guides, reports, educational content).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with content strategist, SEO/GEO leads, product marketing, digital marketing, and customer success to align content with campaigns, product launches, and customer needs.
  • Track and analyze content performance: Use analytics tools to monitor engagement, traffic, conversion metrics, and iteratively improve writing and content delivery based on data.
  • Leverage AI and tooling for efficiency: Use AI-assisted writing, content automation, CMS tools, and content workflow platforms to scale output while maintaining quality.
