About The Position

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the Pre-Award Team on internal and external marketing strategies, communication campaigns, pre-qualification proposals, data collection and data entry for the Sales and Marketing Department’s Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), coordinating and preparing marketing materials and social media updates, participating in marketing activities (Trade shows, conventions, ribbon cutting ceremonies, etc.), corporate employee recruitment & retention initiatives, and branding for company needs (brochures, powerpoints, etc)

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field
  • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
  • Strong written and visual communication skills
  • High attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of social media applications such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram and content management systems a plus
  • Effective story teller, able to generate compelling written and visual content
  • Ability to work well in a fast paced and dynamic team environment
  • Self-starter, focused, dedicated, prompt and professional
  • Graphic Design experience a plus
  • Ability to verbally communicate: convey detailed and accurate instructions and information
  • Ability to hear with or without correction in order to receive and interpret detailed information
  • Required to sit at a desk work station for long and short periods of time
  • Push, pull, lift, reach, and carry at least 10 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 35 lbs. with or without assistance
  • Required to walk and stand at events
  • Required to have visual acuity with or without correction in order to read documentation, analyze data, use a computer monitor and other electronic devices
  • Required to use fingers and hands in order to use a computer or other electronic devices
  • May occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, and crouch

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in construction or related industry preferred (but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage social media content (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
  • Design clean, professional graphics and posts that align with company branding
  • Maintain brand consistency across proposals, presentations, and digital platforms
  • Assist with website updates and marketing materials
  • Support job fair promotions and recruiting-related marketing efforts
  • Capture and organize project photos for marketing use
  • Assist with contractor prequalification paperwork and document preparation
  • Maintain and update CRM/contact databases
  • Support proposal assembly and bid-related documentation
  • Track and organize business development opportunities
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
  • Able to work after hour events
