About The Position

Brownswood Nursery & Landscape is Charleston’s largest nursery and design-build firm, offering a complete line of services from growing to landscape design, installation, and maintenance. As the primary marketing execution lead, the Marketing Coordinator will transform strategy into finished work across digital, print, social, email, photography, video, and events, while keeping priorities organized and on schedule. This role is ideal for someone creative, organized, and energized by turning ideas into polished campaigns, who enjoys managing a variety of projects, bringing consistency to a growing brand, and collaborating with teams across the business.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of marketing or communications experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Photography and videography experience
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, CMS platforms, email marketing, and basic SEO
  • Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills
  • A self-motivated professional who can work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in horticulture or landscaping is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Execute integrated marketing campaigns supporting all Brownswood divisions.
  • Manage day-to-day social media, email marketing, website updates, and digital advertising.
  • Track campaign performance and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Implement marketing priorities established by the Director of Operations while contributing creative ideas.
  • Design print and digital marketing materials.
  • Capture and edit photography and video.
  • Maintain Brownswood’s brand standards across all customer touchpoints.
  • Coordinate marketing requests from multiple departments.
  • Maintain the marketing production calendar and communicate timelines.
  • Coordinate photo shoots, video productions, trade shows, classes, sponsorships, and community events.
  • Maintain organized marketing assets, photography libraries, vendor records, and project documentation.
  • Research AI tools and marketing technologies that improve efficiency.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects with professionalism, organization, and attention to detail.
