About The Position

TrendSpider is an all-in-one trading platform built for active traders and investors, combining advanced charting, automated analysis, backtesting, and market scanning into one workspace. We help traders find, validate, and act on their edge with less guesswork and more structure. We are looking for a versatile marketer to join the TrendSpider team. While your primary focus from Day 1 will be managing our email communications, this is a generalist role designed for someone who wants to wear many hats. You don’t need to be an email engineer, but you do need to be tech-savvy, a strong writer, and ready to own a key revenue channel while supporting broader marketing initiatives.

Requirements

Proven experience building and sending emails independently
General Marketing Experience: You have worked in a marketing role where email was part of your toolkit, even if it wasn't your sole focus.
Tech-Saviness: You are comfortable learning new software quickly. Familiarity with Mailchimp (or similar ESPs) is a plus, but the ability to figure things out is more important.
Strong Writing Skills: You can write copy that is professional yet conversational, and you know how to adapt your tone for different audiences.
Eye for Design: You have a basic sense of layout and visual hierarchy (experience with Canva or basic HTML is helpful, but not required).
Attention to Detail: You catch typos others miss and care about the user experience.
Curiosity: You have an interest in trading, investing, or fintech and are eager to learn more about the industry.

Responsibilities

Take part in building and deploying marketing emails using tools like Mailchimp (newsletters, product updates, and promotions).
Maintain and tweak automation flows (welcome series, trial nurturing, win-backs) to ensure customers have a smooth experience.
Draft clear, engaging copy for emails and assist with copy needs across other channels (social, landing pages, etc.).
Collaborate with the marketing team to execute larger launches and events, ensuring email aligns with the broader strategy.
Keep track of performance metrics to see what’s working and suggest new ideas to improve.
QA your own work to ensure links, spelling, and formatting are perfect before hitting send.
As a generalist, you may assist with ad-hoc marketing projects, content updates, or community engagement as the company grows.
