About The Position
Kent Scientific Corporation is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to manage trade show and event logistics from start to finish. This role also involves contributing to content creation, design, and social media execution. It is an early-career, generalist marketing position suitable for individuals looking to broaden their marketing experience across various areas. The Marketing Coordinator will report to the Marketing Manager.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in a marketing, communications, or related generalist role.
- Organized with the ability to juggle multiple vendors, timelines, and moving pieces.
- Experience with or genuine interest in content creation, social media, and basic design tools like Canva.
- Clear and comfortable communication with vendors, partners, and internal teams.
- Adaptable, self-starter comfortable with structure and autonomy.
- Willingness to jump in, learn new skills, and take on work outside a narrow lane.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while staying accountable through weekly check-ins and task tracking.

- Trade show, event, or logistics coordination experience.
Responsibilities
- Owning trade show sign-up and logistics, including securing booth space, paying show fees, coordinating attendee housing, and managing equipment and collateral shipping.
- Building and maintaining a system for tracking trade show equipment, inventory, and storage-unit logistics.
- Coordinating equipment loans for workshops and training sessions.
- Coordinating ad placements in trade publications and industry association materials, including gathering deadlines and specs and assembling materials for submission.
- Managing marketing collateral: ordering, proofing, storage, and shipping to the sales team.
- Sourcing, sampling, and ordering trade show giveaways and promotional items.
- Supporting basic design work in Canva, content production and proofreading, social media posting, and execution of email marketing campaigns.
- Traveling up to 2-4 times per year for trade shows and occasional office visits for on-site logistics management.
