About The Position

Under the direction of the Creative Director, the Content Creator is responsible for producing engaging digital content that enhances the Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino's online presence. This role focuses on creating short-form video (Reels, Stories, TikTok, Shorts), photography, graphics, and social posts that align with current trends and the property's brand voice. The ideal candidate is highly creative, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced entertainment environment. They should be familiar with the latest social media trends, casino or hospitality culture, and have the technical skills to capture, edit, and publish content that resonates with our audience.

Requirements

• A portfolio of past social media work is required at the time of interview. All applicants must submit or bring a portfolio showcasing: 3–5 examples of short-form video or social posts (reels, shorts, stories, static posts), Writing samples for captions or campaigns, Evidence of content reach, growth, or engagement metrics (if available)
• Associate degree or higher in Marketing, Media, Communications, or related field preferred. A combination of extensive experience, education, and impressive portfolio, may be considered.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in content creation ideally in hospitality, entertainment, or retail.
• Proficiency in video/photo editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, InShot, or equivalent).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to cover live events and activations.
• Must be physically present to work a regular, reliable, and predictable schedule in accordance with business demands.
• Willing and available to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
• Excellent creative writing and visual storytelling abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of personal accountability for content quality and timeliness.
• Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and external contacts. Read, write, and speak English fluently.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality.
• Maintain a positive, professional, and productive demeanor.
• Move efficiently throughout the work area.
• Obtain and maintain a valid STRC gaming license

Responsibilities

• Promote and support a culture of excellence at Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino by modeling STRC values, delivering exceptional guest service, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
• Provide exceptional guest service throughout all interactions.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming regulations, internal controls, and departmental policies, including requirements of the Gaming Commission and applicable state and federal authorities.
• Produce original, engaging, on-brand content across multiple platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Capture and edit video/photo content for events, promotions, and daily casino activity.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions with the Marketing team to develop fresh ideas and content themes.
• Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and influencer culture.
• Support influencer visits, content shoots, and local collaborations as directed.
• Assist with additional marketing tasks including digital asset coordination, signage photography, or event setup coverage.
• Uphold the brand's visual and voice standards in all creative output.
• Demonstrate dependability and reliability by maintaining regular, punctual attendance and consistently fulfilling assigned shifts and responsibilities.
• Create, maintain, and facilitate a positive and safe work environment; promote healthy team member relations and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
