The Marketing Compliance Reviewer is responsible for reviewing proposed marketing and advertising content developed by marketing teams to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and regulatory expectations. This role focuses on consumer‑facing materials related to financial products and services and serves as a key control to mitigate legal, regulatory, and reputational risk. This role evaluates content for compliance with consumer protection requirements including the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and principles articulated by federal banking regulators, including unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts or practices (UDAAP) standards. They should have familiarity with what is required to comply with the consumer protection and marketing laws.
