About The Position

At Regions, the Marketing Business Line Strategist contributes to integrated marketing efforts designed to meet and exceed customer needs and expectations as well as drive business outcomes including profitability, growing customer base, and deepening relationships. This position serves as a liaison between Marketing and various business lines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
  • Seven (7) years of Banking and/or Marketing experience
  • Ability to build strong relationships with business partners across various functions
  • Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and measurement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Sense of urgency, solid judgement, and prioritization skills
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation

Nice To Haves

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a related graduate degree
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams
  • Direct and digital marketing experience
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and measurement
  • Experience with Financial education programs and Customer Content strategy is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to the development and overall execution of the Marketing plan and committed outcomes
  • Partners with Marketing/SCX centers of excellence and business teams to continuously innovate, identify, and test new and radical marketing programs
  • Partners with product, brand, and content teams to ensure marketing programs deliver personalized communications that meet the needs and preferences of the Banks customers
  • Partners with the content and execution team to develop and manage a creative/content roadmap across channels
  • Assists senior management in monitoring and researching market, customer, and technology trends and recommends taking action when necessary
  • Offers advice and guidance to junior strategists
  • Lead design of customer onboarding, loyalty and retention programs for Consumer bank customers
  • Identify opportunities for increased personalization through unique customer journeys by Segment
  • Strong experience designing Journeys from the ground up in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
  • Experience with Financial education programs and Customer Content strategy is a plus
