About The Position

Berlitz U.S. provides language, intercultural, and business communication training to individuals and organizations across the country. We partner with global companies to build more effective teams and help individuals gain confidence in a connected world. We are looking for a versatile Content Marketing Specialist who can plan, create, and execute content across digital channels. This role blends content writing, social media management, and light design to support lead generation, brand awareness, and customer engagement. You will own content production from idea through execution, helping us connect with corporate clients and individual learners in meaningful, relevant ways. The Marketing & Communications Specialist will support the execution of marketing and communications initiatives under the direction of the Marketing Director. This role will be responsible for coordinating campaigns, managing communications channels, supporting events, maintaining external partnerships, and assisting with content creation to ensure successful execution of the organization's marketing objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of marketing, communications, or event coordination experience.
  • Strong written communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with social media platforms and email marketing tools.
  • Familiarity with Canva and basic design principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and execute the social media content calendar.
  • Create, schedule, and publish content across company social channels.
  • Monitor engagement and identify opportunities for content and audience growth.
  • Bring forward creative content ideas and campaign concepts.
  • Build, schedule, and deploy email marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate newsletter production and promotional communications.
  • Maintain email lists and support reporting on campaign performance.
  • Support reputation management initiatives.
  • Coordinate sponsorships, partnerships, and community engagement activities.
  • Assist with press releases, announcements, and external communications.
  • Maintain relationships with community and industry partners.
  • Coordinate registrations, attendee communications, and event logistics.
  • Manage event materials, promotional items, signage, and branded merchandise.
  • Support event planning and execution for conferences, webinars, and community events.
  • Create light marketing collateral and social graphics using Canva.
  • Assist with marketing project management and campaign execution.
  • Ensure brand consistency across marketing materials.
  • Support reporting and administrative functions for the marketing team.
