About The Position

The Marketing & Communications Intern will support the Public Affairs strategy of Liberty Networks, contributing to the company’s regional engagement across policy, regulatory, and stakeholder landscapes. In this role, the intern will assist with monitoring regulatory and policy developments, supporting stakeholder mapping and engagement efforts, and preparing briefing materials and presentations. The position will also provide support in the development of strategic narratives aligned with Liberty Networks’ business priorities, ensuring consistency across Public Affairs, Marketing, and Communications initiatives. Additionally, the intern will help coordinate internal workflows and support the execution of external engagements, including industry events, government outreach, and thought leadership initiatives.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Communications, Marketing, Law, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in public policy, government relations, and the telecommunications or digital infrastructure sector.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency required.
  • Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track regulatory, policy, and industry developments across key markets in Latin America and the Caribbean.
  • Support stakeholder mapping and maintain updated databases of government, regulatory, and industry contacts.
  • Assist in the preparation of briefing materials, presentations, and executive summaries for leadership.
  • Contribute to the development of Public Affairs narratives aligned with Liberty Networks’ strategic priorities.
  • Support coordination between Public Affairs, Marketing, Communications, and external partners to ensure message consistency.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of external engagements, including industry events, government meetings, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Conduct research and analysis on market trends, digital infrastructure, and policy topics relevant to the business.
  • Help draft internal and external communications, including talking points, summaries, and reports.
  • Provide general administrative and project coordination support to ensure timely execution of Public Affairs initiatives.
