About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Marketing & Communications Assistant to support the growth and visibility of a rapidly expanding event marketing organization. This role is ideal for a highly organized, creative communicator who enjoys building relationships, developing marketing strategies, engaging with communities, and representing a brand with professionalism. As a Marketing & Communications Assistant, you will play a key role in executing communication initiatives, supporting public relations efforts, coordinating community outreach programs, and helping drive brand awareness for our clients. You will collaborate with internal teams, senior leadership, and external partners to develop impactful marketing campaigns and strengthen customer engagement.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in marketing, communications, public relations, sales, customer engagement, community relations, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong ability to build rapport and establish relationships within diverse communities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams and senior leadership to execute strategic marketing and communication initiatives.
  • Represent the organization at community events, promotional campaigns, and public-facing engagements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, community partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Support the development and execution of community outreach strategies, marketing campaigns, and brand initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with consumer groups, community organizations, employees, and public interest groups.
  • Train and coach client representatives on effective communication strategies and customer engagement techniques.
  • Develop public relations strategies designed to increase brand awareness, influence public perception, and promote products, services, and organizational initiatives.
  • Help maintain and strengthen the company's brand image, reputation, and market presence.
  • Partner with the Operations Director to identify industry trends, evaluate promotional campaigns, and align advertising efforts with overall public relations goals.
  • Assist with event coordination, marketing activations, and customer engagement initiatives.
