About The Position

Reporting to Regional Marketing Managers, the Marketing Communications Specialist will support the execution of regional brand, retail, and go-to-market strategies across Western Canada. This role offers exposure to the implementation of national marketing programs at the regional level while working closely with sales, marketing, dealer operations, and agency partners. The successful candidate will contribute to high-visibility marketing initiatives, participate in cross-functional projects, and support key business functions through reporting, analysis, communications, event coordination, and stakeholder management.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as an Analyst with a focus on Marketing, Communications, Business, Retail, or Automotive.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s License (clean abstract) or equivalent out-of-province license.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to interpret data and translate findings into meaningful business recommendations.
  • Strong initiative with the ability to anticipate needs and proactively solve problems.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including confidence interacting directly with dealers and external partners.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong judgment, integrity, and ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous automotive industry experience through co-op, internship, part-time, or full-time employment.
  • Strong interest in the automotive industry and retail marketing.
  • Experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support Regional Marketing Managers with the execution of national brand and campaign strategies within regional markets.
  • Collaborate with national brand teams to understand marketing priorities, campaign messaging, content requirements, and legal disclaimer development.
  • Develop dealer and field communications that support retail programs, marketing initiatives, and brand consistency.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, provide strategic direction, and contribute to the development of marketing and retail briefs.
  • Support sales reporting, performance analysis, and field communications that drive marketing and business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain reports related to inventory, sales performance, budget utilization, program tracking, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and prepare reports that translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Present marketing initiatives, campaign results, and budget performance to internal stakeholders and field teams.
  • Manage regional marketing budgets and program investments to ensure alignment with business objectives and measurable outcomes.
  • Support program administration, guideline management, claims review, and utilization tracking.
  • Serve as a key point of contact between dealers and the regional marketing team, handling inquiries and providing program support.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of recurring marketing board meetings, including agenda development, attendance tracking, content preparation, and meeting minutes.
  • Create presentations and meeting materials covering marketing initiatives, campaigns, inventory, budgets, and business updates.
  • Coordinate regional meetings, including scheduling, logistics management, agenda creation, meeting documentation, and follow-up activities.
  • Support sponsorship planning and execution alongside agency and field partners to maximize regional visibility and brand alignment.
  • Lead assigned projects from planning through completion, focusing on marketing, retail, and brand initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between sales, service, marketing, and other business stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistent communication.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing processes, reporting workflows, and communication strategies.
  • Support day-to-day office operations, including package management, visitor coordination, and facility-related activities.
  • Assist in the administration of company vehicle and courtesy vehicle programs, including vehicle sourcing, scheduling, maintenance coordination, fueling, detailing, and tracking usage records.

Benefits

  • The pay range for this position is $30.04 - $30.04/hr.
