The Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS) is seeking a creative and motivated intern with an interest in marketing, communications, graphic design, and digital content creation to support statewide recruitment and outreach efforts. The intern will be supervised by the Private Attorney Outreach Partner but will collaborate with the Communication Director and Content Creator to help develop creative strategies and materials designed to increase awareness of CPCS private attorney panel opportunities. Projects will include pitching and creating digital content, social media campaigns, recruitment materials, attorney features, advertisements, and other marketing tools that highlight the important work of CPCS attorneys across Massachusetts. This internship provides an opportunity for a student interested in applying their creative skills in a mission-driven environment while gaining hands-on experience building and promoting a statewide recruitment campaign. Unlike a traditional internship, students will have the opportunity to build a portfolio of professional work while supporting a social justice organization committed to expanding access to quality legal representation. The internship may be completed over one academic semester or the full academic year and requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week. This internship can be done from anywhere; work will be mainly remote but may require travel to different office locations as needed.
