At Batteries Plus, our people are what power us. As a Marketing Cloud Engagement Specialist, you'll bring data, technology, and creativity together to deliver impactful customer experiences. You'll manage marketing automation within Salesforce Marketing Cloud-executing campaigns, building personalized journeys, and optimizing engagement to drive customer retention and sales growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing or marketing automation, preferably using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio).
  • Strong understanding of audience segmentation, automation, and campaign analytics.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach.

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification preferred.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email formatting preferred.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimize performance.

Responsibilities

  • Build, test, and deploy B2B marketing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including email sends and automated journeys.
  • Create and maintain landing pages and data-capture forms to support lead generation and customer engagement.
  • Manage all aspects of campaign execution, including audience selection, content setup, QA, deployment, and performance tracking.
  • Maintain campaign calendars to ensure alignment with promotional priorities and brand initiatives.
  • Develop automated customer journeys that enhance lifecycle engagement and retention.
  • Build and optimize dynamic audience segments using data extensions, filters, and SQL queries.
  • Partner with CRM and Data teams to improve targeting accuracy and maintain clean customer data.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics and provide insights for optimization.
  • Support A/B testing to refine messaging, timing, and segmentation strategies.
  • Ensure all communications comply with CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and data privacy regulations.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, Merchandising, and eCommerce teams to ensure messaging consistency across digital touchpoints.
  • Partner with IT to troubleshoot system issues and improve platform capabilities.
  • Support broader CRM and omnichannel initiatives through list management, automation support, and reporting.
