About The Position

Join Plymouth Rock Assurance as a Marketing Cloud & Automation Specialist and take on a high-impact role where your work directly shapes the customer experience and the success of our Home Group. Based in our Boston office, you will design, develop, and implement responsive, visually engaging communication templates within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align priorities, translate business needs into technical solutions, and deliver effective digital communication strategies across multiple channels. Your expertise will help us enhance customer engagement, streamline processes, and drive meaningful results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency in HTML and CSS for building responsive, high-quality email templates.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (administration, automation, and creative management).
  • Strong working knowledge of AMPscript for email personalization and SQL for segmentation and reporting.
  • Familiarity with both Litmus and Salesforce Einstein for testing/previewing and email optimization.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including A/B testing, personalization, optimization, and accessibility.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to partner across teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Email Template Design & Development
  • Create responsive, visually engaging email templates using tools such as HTML, CSS, and AMPscript within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Litmus.
  • Ensure templates are optimized for compatibility across devices, email clients, and service providers.
  • Collaborate with the digital team to integrate dynamic content, personalization, and brand elements.
  • Automation & Campaign Management
  • Build dynamic content blocks that support segmentation and personalized messaging.
  • Implement advanced personalization strategies to drive engagement.
  • Leverage SQL for audience segmentation and ensure campaigns are data-driven and tailored to customer behaviors.
  • Testing & Optimization
  • Conduct A/B testing on templates, subject lines, creative assets, and call-to-action buttons to maximize open and click-through rates.
  • Translate A/B test results into actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Apply AI-driven tools (e.g., Einstein) to enhance campaign timing, targeting, and performance.
  • Compliance & Analysis
  • Maintain compliance with digital communication standards, including CAN-SPAM and TCPA.
  • Monitor campaign dashboards and reports to measure KPIs and overall effectiveness.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize email and campaign performance.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
  • Develop and maintain documentation of processes, templates, and best practices.
  • Train and support team members in email template usage, customization, and marketing automation
