Since 1984, Larkin Street Youth Services has helped more than 75,000 young adults in San Francisco with outreach, shelter, housing, education, employment, healthcare, and other services. Today, Larkin Street Youth Services is the largest provider of housing and services to homeless youth in the Bay Area. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Under the guidance of the Program Manager, the Engagement Specialist engages unhoused drop-in clients in Larkin Street Youth Services programming to help advance their goals. The Engagement Specialist works on a team of Counselors, Case Managers and Coordinators to lead activities, provide emotional support, assess for need and connect to appropriate resources. The Specialist is the Engagement and Community Center lead on client de-escalation and supports security staff as needed. This is a full-time position, eligible for full benefits.
