About The Position

ROMCO Equipment Co., a leader in heavy equipment sales and service across Texas, is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Intern to support our growing team. This position offers hands -on experience in the construction equipment industry, combining marketing creativity, customer engagement, and data -driven business strategy. The intern will gain practical knowledge of sales processes, marketing operations, and client relationship management in a fast -paced B2B environment.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and interacting with customers.
  • Familiar with CRM tools, social media platforms, and design programs such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Enthusiastic about learning how marketing connects with sales and service in the construction equipment industry.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct customer database analysis to identify new opportunities and optimize sales territories.
  • Assist in workflow development to improve communication and efficiency between sales, service, and marketing teams.
  • Support sales outreach initiatives, including cold calls to prospective clients, follow -ups, and lead tracking.
  • Contribute to marketing campaigns that highlight ROMCO’s equipment offerings, service capabilities, and industry expertise.
  • Create and refine graphic design materials such as brochures, social media posts, and trade show collateral.
  • Manage and schedule content across social media platforms, promoting ROMCO’s brand and product updates.
  • Collaborate on account management efforts to strengthen relationships with existing clients.
  • Participate in outreach and event planning for trade shows, customer appreciation events, and community engagements.
  • Create and edit marketing video content
