About The Position

The Marketing Brand Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing and communications initiatives that support organizational goals and enhance brand awareness. This position manages projects and strategic marketing campaigns, oversees content development and production, and creates clear, effective written communications for a variety of audiences. The Marketing Brand Manager collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure brand consistency, support engagement efforts, and deliver high-quality marketing materials across multiple channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field.
  • Five years of experience in communications, digital marketing or marketing field.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate all marketing and communication requests for MBA programs within Mays Business School.
  • Act as primary contact for advertising agency initiatives for each individual MBA program.
  • Develop brand strategies for each program and work with third-party agency to execute against each strategy.
  • Act as liaison and point of communication for all marketing needs, proactively understanding upcoming events and initiatives.
  • Works to assess needs, create a plan, communicate with relevant staff members, assign resources, communicate updates and changes, meet deadlines and evaluate project success post launch.
  • Operate and understand the Mays Business School project management platform.
  • Create and provide strategic direction on email campaigns in various email marketing platforms, facilitate website updates, assist with social media campaigns, monitor campaign performance, work in other content management systems.
  • Collaborate with social team to monitor and deliver performance updates on advertising initiatives produced by the marketing team.
  • Write and edit copy for social media posts, email campaigns, website updates and brochures for unit initiatives within Mays Business School.
  • Research best practices to help maintain efficiency. Keep abreast of industry advancements and learning opportunities.
