The Marketing Associate position is responsible for enhancing supplier relations through the development, communication, and monitoring of annual and monthly business plans. This role involves understanding and communicating supplier marketing plans and strategies to internal teams, as well as planning and monitoring special events, customer contacts, and maximizing consumer sampling opportunities. The associate will regularly communicate with brand managers regarding upcoming events and promotions, and engage in supplier alliances and sponsorships. Key responsibilities also include utilizing sales data systems for targeted planning, activity tracking, and reporting, assisting with inventory management, monitoring sales execution, managing the Point of Sale budget, and ensuring proper documentation for supplier reimbursement. Additionally, the role involves developing and distributing sales materials, assisting with chain contract submission, and managing price letter updates.
