About The Position

GEN3 is looking for a proactive Marketing Assistant to support our growing marketing team across a wide range of exciting projects - from day-to-day marketing admin to social media management, campaign support, and community-focused initiatives through GEN3’s charitable arm. This is an in-person, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is equally comfortable scheduling social posts, coordinating marketing activities, and helping bring larger campaigns and projects to life. As Marketing Assistant, you’ll work closely with our Communications Director to support brand, communications, digital marketing, and community engagement initiatives across the business. You’ll play an important role in keeping marketing activities running smoothly while contributing creative ideas and practical support across projects big and small.

Requirements

• Entry-level experience in a marketing, communications, or social media role
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and current digital trends
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Creative mindset with a willingness to contribute ideas
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media scheduling tools

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools is highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives
• Create, schedule, and monitor engaging social media content across multiple platforms
• Visit job sites to collect content
• Support content creation including captions, graphics coordination, newsletters, and promotional materials
• Assist with marketing admin including campaign results, categorization and customer review management
• Help coordinate events, promotions, sponsorships, and community activities
• Provide marketing support for GEN3’s charitable and community engagement initiatives
• Assist with website updates, digital content management, and internal communications
