About The Position

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Marketing & Training Specialist. This position is responsible for supporting and delivering high-quality employee onboarding, customer training, and marketing-driven education programs. This role blends training coordination with marketing execution, ensuring customers, partners, and employees receive exceptional learning and brand experience.The specialist will support trade shows, customer events, and marketing initiatives while managing the company Learning and Development strategy.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in training, onboarding, customer education, marketing support, or event coordination.
  • Experience supporting trade shows, customer-facing events, or marketing initiatives.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)

Nice To Haves

  • Articulate 360 or similar e-learning development tools (not required, but preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Employee Onboarding and Orientation:
  • Facilitate New Hire Orientation sessions and maintain onboarding materials.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to expand onboarding into scalable online learning offerings.
  • Customer Training and Experience:
  • Coordinate and deliver customer and partner training programs.
  • Develop customer-facing learning resources that enhance product adoption and customer satisfaction.
  • Support ongoing education opportunities that strengthen the customer experience.
  • Marketing and Trade Show Support:
  • Participate in and support company trade shows, customer events, and industry conferences.
  • Coordinate logistics for event marketing materials, booth setup, training demonstrations, and attendee engagement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, product launches, and customer communications.
  • Maintain marketing and training material inventory for events and customer visits.
  • Learning Management and E-Learning Support:
  • Manage training content within the LMS, including course assignments and reporting.
  • Implement e-learning modules using Articulate 360 and similar tools.
  • Track completion metrics and provide reporting on training effectiveness.
  • Training and Event Logistics:
  • Coordinate classroom trainings, workshops, and seminars.
  • Manage travel, lodging, meals, and scheduling for training and event participation.
  • Maintain training and event calendars across teams.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Conduct research to improve training delivery, customer engagement, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Represent training and customer education needs in new product development initiatives.
  • Contribute to internal and external communications such as blogs, newsletters, and learning updates.
