As a Marketing Student at PCL, you will support key marketing initiatives, contribute to campaign development, and gain exposure to brand and market strategies in an environment that promotes personal and professional growth. We are looking for a student available for 4 or 8 month-terms starting in September 2026.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree or diploma in a communications-related field (communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, arts degree, etc.).
  • Has excellent written communication and collaboration skills.
  • Has ability to be creative and innovative.
  • Has the ability to create digital content
  • Is competent in Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Is competent in Adobe’s Creative Suite of products (InDesign, Premiere Pro, Photoshop)
  • Has time management and project management skills.
  • Understands the different communications mediums and how to adapt content writing to those mediums.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in social media marketing is considered an asset.
  • Experience in graphic design is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Producing written and visual content for a variety of communications channels, including our, intranet, videos, publications, and social channels.
  • Executing communications plans, creating content and digital assets
  • Contributing to the overall strategic communication planning and implementation of key initiatives.
  • Understand PCL’s brand and apply branding (language and visual elements) to communications pieces.
  • Creating and enhancing brand awareness through internal/external communication.
  • Supporting proposals (through resume development, document layout, and supporting content curation for the procurement process).
