Marketing and Communications Specialist - Intern
About The Position
Botlink, and its parent company Packet Digital, are leading in the emerging UAS marketspace. Botlink provides an array of products and services to customers throughout the UAS industry, while Packet builds world-class battery packs and power systems for drones and UAS. A marketing intern is responsible for assisting marketing operations under the supervision of a marketing manager. They will create engaging content for our social media profiles, design marketing material, assist with event planning, and more. We are looking for an intern who can collaborate with the marketing and sales team in all stages of marketing campaigns.
Requirements
- Proficient in relevant computer applications
- Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, and other design software
- Familiarity with social media strategies and platforms
- Experience in event planning and organizing
- Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Actively pursuing degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Google Analytics, SEO and CRM tools
- Experience with WordPress and Squarespace
- Understanding of HTML and CSS
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies
- Manage the company social marketing and blog posts
- Create dynamic written and graphic content
- Responsible for keeping website content updated and relevant
- Design and format marketing materials including social media graphics and ads
- Ability to learn technical details of both the drone industry and customer industries
- Evaluate content on the site and provide recommendations to the content team to improve SEO results
- Provide support for tradeshow and event attendance as well as on-site event planning.
- Assist with template building for presentations to ensure consistent branding
- Support marketing team with clerical tasks such as reporting and database management
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.
