We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator (Western US and Canada Division) to fill a paid 10-week summer internship. The intern can be an undergraduate student, graduate student, or recent graduate (between 2024 and 2025). This position is home-based in the United States, with a preference for those living in the Western US (WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, UT, CO, NM, NV, AZ) or Alaska and will provide a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between academics and real-world work. We offer an orientation, professional networking opportunities, and real-world work experience. The Intern will be responsible for supporting marketing and communications activities for the Western US and Canada division, priority conservation programs, states, and marketing campaigns. Projects may include the following: coordinate activations related advancing policy outcomes; compile and synthesize reports on marketing impacts and metrics; assist with the rollout of our annual divisional communications strategy; and create, review, and support the development of communications materials including presentations, social media content, memos, creative briefs, and other assets for division and program work.
