About The Position

ACT is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Marketing Analyst I or II with a specialization in web analytics and ads. The ideal candidate will have a background in data analysis, digital marketing strategies, and web measurement. The finalist will be hired at the salary and level commensurate with their qualifications. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary between $60,000 to $70,000 for a Marketing Analyst I and $70,000 to $80,000 for a Marketing Analyst II. ACT manages salaries within the range based on relevant factors including, skills, experience, and internal equity. This is a remote position, based in the United States. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in marketing analysis, with a focus on web analytics and paid advertising (for Marketing Analyst I)
  • At least 3 years of experience in marketing analysis, with a focus on web analytics and paid advertising (for Marketing Analyst II)
  • Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
  • Experience with tagging and management systems such as Google Tag Manager
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with analysis and presentation tools such as Excel, Looker Studio, or Tableau
  • Ability to organize data across sources and manage multiple data sets
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels and advertising metrics
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Informatics, Business, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with web optimization and tools such as VWO or Adobe Target
  • Basic familiarity with Snowflake or similar data warehouse
  • Familiarity with LLM tools such as Claude, ChatCPT, or Gemini and implementing tools in workflows

Responsibilities

  • Analyze web traffic and campaign performance data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
  • Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and reports for both ongoing and ad-hoc requests
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to establish campaign tracking goals, KPIs, and translate stakeholder needs into solutions
  • Provide recommendations based on data analysis to optimize marketing performance and surface opportunities
  • Contribute to analysis, regular reporting, and ad-hoc requests
  • Contribute to media planning, optimization, and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Work with stakeholders to define problems, update measurement, and develop appropriate recommendations
  • Begin to lead analytics projects and work on larger questions related to user behavior and marketing performance
  • Identify opportunities and pursue self-directed analytics projects
  • Contribute to strategy development for the D2L market
