Marketing AI Architect

HillpointeWinter Park, FL

About The Position

Hillpointe is hiring a founding Marketing AI Architect to build the next generation of AI-native tools powering its Marketing, Creative, and Centralized Operations teams. This role involves designing, building, and deploying internal applications, automations, custom AI agents, and shared context systems to improve the customer journey and enhance discoverability by AI models. This is a high-trust, founding position where the individual will inherit and extend existing internal tools while building new systems. The focus is on a marketer-first approach, owning the problem and shipping working tools efficiently. Marketing "taste" and judgment are considered key differentiators, with code being the means to an end.

Requirements

  • A marketing, creative, growth, or brand background - understanding marketers because you have been one.
  • A portfolio of tools, agents, automations, or apps personally built and shipped (personal projects count).
  • Deep, hands-on capability with AI development tools such as Claude Code and/or OpenAI Codex.
  • Comfortable and fluent with the command line (CLI) and GitHub.
  • Ability to deploy tools to a team and drive real adoption.
  • "Marketer taste": judgment to know what NOT to build, and when AI output is off-brand or low-quality.
  • Relentless curiosity - keeping up with new models and capabilities as a matter of habit.
  • Ability to own projects independently while collaborating across teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building internal business tools or software used by a team.
  • Formal software engineering background or CS coursework.
  • Hands-on GEO / AEO / AI-visibility experience (citation tracking, structured content for LLMs).
  • Experience with API integrations across SaaS platforms.
  • Experience building custom AI agents or MCP integrations.
  • Design or content-creation ability alongside building.
  • Knowledge of property management, multifamily housing, CRM, or marketing technology.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and ship internal tools, dashboards, and applications that eliminate manual work for Marketing, Creative, and Centralized Operations.
  • Use AI development tools (Claude Code, OpenAI Codex) to prototype and build functional software at high velocity, turning natural-language intent into working systems.
  • Maintain, harden, and extend the existing portfolio of internal tools used across the Brand & Creative organization.
  • Build reusable, well-documented components and templates for durable and maintainable tools.
  • Move the organization from "single-player" to "multiplayer" AI by building shared context layers (centralized, version-controlled libraries of brand truths, voice guidelines, product specs, and competitive intelligence).
  • Develop and maintain reusable AI Skills and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations synced to GitHub.
  • Reduce hallucinations and inconsistency by ensuring content generated across teams pulls from the same live, accurate context.
  • Own "Make the Invisible Visible" (MTIV): ensure Hillpointe and Pointe Grand are cited and recommended inside LLM responses.
  • Practice Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO): structure content and data so AI models can crawl, parse, understand, and cite it accurately.
  • Track AI citations, bot/crawler traffic, and brand sentiment across sources models trust most.
  • Guard citation accuracy by building fact-check systems to prevent incorrect pricing, availability, or brand facts.
  • Audit for technical crawlability and flag issues that make content invisible to AI agents.
  • Take an API-first approach to breaking down data silos and replace manual export/import work with code-driven syncing.
  • Build custom AI agents for specialized, recurring tasks (research, monitoring, reporting, asset generation).
  • Build integrations that connect marketing, leasing, and operational systems for automatic data flow.
  • Generate personalized creative at scale using AI and design-tool integrations.
  • Get tools into teammates’ hands efficiently and repeatedly, owning the path from prototype to adoption.
  • Use CLI and GitHub fluently to version, deploy, and maintain tools.
  • Document and onboard teammates to ensure tool adoption.
  • Interpret marketing team goals and needs and translate them into tools.
  • Apply judgment before automating to ensure AI output aligns with brand voice and adds genuine value.
  • Partner directly with Marketing, Creative, and Centralized Operations leadership to prioritize builds.
  • Live in an AI-native toolchain, using Claude Code & OpenAI Codex, command line (CLI), and GitHub.
  • Choose the right frameworks, languages, cloud, and data tools for each build.
