About The Position

BrokerLink is seeking a Marketing Consultant to join their team in Calgary for a 12-month contract. This role involves supporting BrokerLink's business strategy through marketing campaigns, collaborating with departments for acquisition onboarding, identifying new opportunities with internal stakeholders, and developing/implementing marketing and communication strategies. The consultant will act as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships across the organization.

Requirements

  • Excellent editing, writing and in-person communication skills.
  • An ability to create effective, compelling content that is tailored to specific audiences.
  • Post-secondary education related to marketing or communications programs.
  • 3+ years of work experience within a corporate marketing and communications department or agency environment.
  • Experience creating strategic communications plans and designing content strategies to meet organizational objectives.
  • High-level proficiency using presentation software applications.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver creative and strategic work on time.
  • Understanding of market research, brand and marketing campaign structure.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, highly motivated, organized, and detail oriented.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada from the anticipated start date and throughout their employment and are solely responsible for maintaining their work eligibility.

Nice To Haves

  • Insurance industry experience is a definite plus.
  • A good sense of humour is welcome and encouraged.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the creation and execution of marketing campaigns supporting BrokerLink’s overall business strategy while ensuring brand compliance.
  • Collaborate with other corporate departments to facilitate the onboarding of acquisitions.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to identify new opportunities and generate tactics for new sales or retention.
  • Assessing your project needs, then developing and implementing the marketing and communication strategies and plans, to manage the execution and measure success.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to develop strong relationships with internal business partners and colleagues at all levels.
