About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of experience in production underwriting or marketing commercial insurance, preferably in workers’ compensation.
• Strong knowledge of and relationships with key insurance agencies in the specified territory.
• Excellent group presentation and one-on-one communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in underwriting, loss control, or claims is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Market products and services through the independent agency system in designated geographical areas.
• Achieve high levels of renewal retention and target growth of new business.
• Manage communication and relationships with agents, the underwriting department, and account executives.
• Serve as the front-line underwriter for new business submissions, developing effective strategies for account presentations.
• Travel up to 60% of the time for meetings and client interactions.
