About The Position

The Market Vice President of Sales will drive revenue growth across their assigned market segments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership within the PBM industry, along with exceptional strategic planning, relationship-building, and team management skills.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in a sales role in the health insurance industry.
  • 3 years of PBM experience, either directly or indirectly.
  • Results and success-oriented sales leader and team builder with the ability to execute sales plans and programs.
  • Demonstrate executive leadership presence to engage customers, including the ability to deliver corporate presentations and tactfully navigate selling and negotiating discussions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and communicate with staff at all levels effectively, within and outside the organization.
  • High degree of strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, and demonstrated success with developing innovative and creative approaches or new ideas.
  • Strong collaborator with all stakeholders and ability to influence and drive consensus, and mutual alignment.
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment and support organizational change management.
  • Willingness and flexibility to regularly travel on short notice.
  • Experience with customer relationship management tools (CRMs).

  • A bachelor's degree or higher is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives to promote and elevate VerusRx’s competitive market position and our brand.
  • Develop and maintain strong broker relationships in your respective market.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote products, services, and generate leads.
  • Continuously monitor market trends and competitive landscape; provide market data and insights to company leadership in support of identifying initiatives, goals, challenges, etc, for and in alignment with VerusRx's vision and strategy.
