About The Position

We are looking for a Market Team Member to join our store and help customers find what they are looking for while shopping in the store. Market Team Members will act as the first point of contact at this store by providing shoppers with information about products offered in the store. A Market Team Member’s responsibilities include maintaining a clean work environment, organizing food displays, and stocking shelves with products for customers to buy. They will also deliver a high level of customer service to shoppers. Ultimately, you will work directly with customers and complete various tasks around the store to keep the shopping area clean and organized throughout the day.

Requirements

  • Proven customer service or retail experience is a plus
  • Great attention to detail
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers to the appropriate aisle or shelve to assist with purchasing decisions
  • Ensure the store is clean, safe and ready for shoppers
  • Process cash register payments by cash, credit card, gift card, and debit
  • Wrap and place merchandise in bags / carts
  • Balance and reconcile cash at end of work shift
  • Maintaining and building various grocery department displays
  • Rotation, loading and unloading of grocery department product
  • Stock and replace products to avoid any damages
  • Keep shelves fully stocked with fresh products
  • Backroom and inventory management
  • Hot and cold food preparation, including sandwiches, chickens, salads, soups and specialty trays
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
