Fitch Ratings is currently seeking a Market Research Associate to join its Business Relationship Management (BRM) team focused on Corporates, Infrastructure and Project Finance based out of its New York office. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a degree in Business, Finance or Economics
  • 0-1 years of relevant work experience
  • Self-starter who can understand objectives, work independently and is highly motivated
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate data demonstrated through marketing materials
  • Great PowerPoint skills and Excel skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team oriented, with an ability to effectively build relationships both externally and internally
  • High level of focus on work quality and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • New or upcoming grad in Spring 2026
  • Knowledge of debt capital markets is a plus
  • Some exposure to corporate credit analysis is helpful

Responsibilities

  • Support the senior members of the US Corporate Finance BRM Team in managing and developing Fitch’s relationships both internally and externally.
  • Research, development, and preparation of marketing materials under guidance from senior members of the team.
  • Maintaining and enhancing quantitative models and databases.
  • Monitor fixed income market news, debt issuances, corporate refinancings, LBOs, and M&A activities, and to look out for Fitch rating opportunities.
