About The Position

ASME is seeking a Market Research Analyst to join their team. This role will support both the Voice of the Customer (VoC) and Voice of Employee (VoE) programs. The analyst will assist with the implementation and analysis of quantitative research focused on customer and employee needs, satisfaction, and feedback regarding ASME's products, programs, and services. The goal is to deliver actionable insights that drive revenue, net margin, customer/constituent acquisition, retention, engagement, and overall customer experience and satisfaction. The role also involves contributing to continuous VoC program improvements, the growth of the VoE program, tracking VoC-based KPIs, managing market intelligence reports, and supporting the development of a new customer panel. The analyst will also stay current on market research methodologies and trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or additional equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in market research within a corporate, or vendor environment.
  • Strong verbal, written, story-telling, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well with teams in diverse, complex, and changing environments.
  • Ability to identify key issues, gather data to investigate those issues, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • A detailed approach and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Advanced Excel skills and deep proficiency with Power Point.
  • Strong knowledge and use of statistical methodologies and tools.
  • Extensive experience programming and deploying surveys with Qualtrics or similar survey utility.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies/practices and statistics preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage programming and deployment of surveys and polls and lead development of cross-tabs.
  • Assist with writing/editing reports and presentations of findings for stakeholders.
  • Contribute to all phases of research design.
  • Support delivery of actionable insights that drive revenue, net margin, customer/constituent acquisition, retention, engagement, and strong customer experience and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate on initiatives aimed at continuous VoC program improvements, including implementation of new feedback collection tool and advanced analytics.
  • Contribute to the ongoing growth and refinement of the VoE program.
  • Assist with development, maintenance and tracking of ASME-wide VoC-based KPIs and Dashboards.
  • Maintain and manage central repository of Market Intelligence research reports.
  • Support development and implementation of the new ASME customer panel.
  • Stay current on market research methodologies, data gathering techniques, and market trends across relevant industries.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary may vary based on geographic location. The New York metro salary range for this position is estimated to be between $95,000 – $105,000 per year.
